Dear Beloved,
It is with great joy that I greet you all in this New Year!!

I am requesting for prayer for:
1. DVD Launch sponsored by Tear Netherlands in partnership with Tearfund UK partners in Malawi. The DVD is about tackling SSDDIM* and promoting the SAVE* Model in responding to HIV and AIDS. The launch is from January 11-13 in Lilongwe. About 50 Pastors will also be trained in the use of the vernecular DVD in their various Faith Communities.

2. Pray for provision of School Fees for our son Eric who is in Form 1. He is 11 year 8 months. Pray that we find a good boarding school with Christian values and caring teachers.

Note*:SSDDIM stands for Shame, Stigma, Denial, Discrimination, Inaction and Misaction while SAVE stands for Safer Practices, Available, Medications and Nutrition, Voluntary, routine counseling and Testing(HTC), and Empowerement/Education.

Dear friends, please can you join me in praying for:

1. There is drastic fuel scarcity country wide and this has adverse effects on essential services like hospitals.
2. There has been a long dry-spell in some areas, pray the rains come adequately for the withering plants to survive.
3. Pray for Malawi Leaders to prioritize needs for the nation as both the rural and urban populationis expecting lasting solution to the fuel crisis.
