We have happy to share the news that WHO has recommended the AKS to represent the Indian civil society in the WHO conference for accelerating implementation of TB-HIV collaborative activities in SEAR, Nepal, in July 2012.

We give thanks to the Lord for this. Please pray for this conference and workshop.

Dear friends,

Greetings in the Name of our only Savior Lord Jesus Christ.

This is an urgent prayer request that I want you to remember
in your prayers. Last night as there was a heavy storm in the area in Dehradun where
the Agnes Kunze Academy (Hope slum Community School) is situated and due to
which the school’s roof which was made of tin shade got destroyed, the full tin
shade of some classes flew away. But by the grace of God there was no harm to
any person living nearby or in the school. There is no extra funds for fixing
it and to fix it there is a need to raise funds urgently. And until the repairs are done it would not be
possible to run the school, so nearly about 10 days we’ll have to close the
school. And the rainy season is coming close and we don’t want the children to
have problems because of the building. So please do pray specially for the
provision of the funds. Or the school would have problems in running the school.

The World TB Day, held on March 24th, is designed to build public awareness that tuberculosis today remains an epidemic in much of the world, causing the deaths of several million people each year, mostly in developing countries.

The Hope Society, led by inspired individuals Manju & Lawrence, has hit the road in India to inform and equip local communities about the prevention of TB.

Good morning and greetings from Manju and Lawrence from the Agnes Kunze Society.Our Lord is so amazing HE can do wonders in our life, which we can never think of, so continue give thanks and pray to Him. We are sorry to tell you that the doors for community care center building purchasing for HIV/AIDS people has not been underway, we are worried about 31 march 2012 and what will happen if we have to vacate the rented place/building.

Some prayers points, please keep us in your prayers:

1.Purchasing of the Community care centre building

2.Pray the Hope Community slum school children who are going to do their the final examinations.

3. Pray for the Hope home children, who stay at AKS home and are also going for final examinations.

4. Pray for funding sustainability, so that we can be strengthened and for the work to continue.

5. Please pray for Manju and Lawrence and their children, that they will live a life like-salt and light so that when people see their good deeds they glorify our Father in heaven.

6.Finally, please also pray for their children who are also going to final exams.
