Dear Friends
I’m leaving today for Thailand and Cambodia where I’ll be leading a Nations 2 Nations Conference in Battambang, Cambodia that will be focusing on the Restoration of the Identity, Dignity and Destiny of individuals, communities, cities and nations. We’ll have people from all over the world but will focus particularly on seeing the release of those nations participating from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and other parts of Indo-China. Pray that they will discover their own voice as they worship God in their own indigenous way, lifting up authentic praise to Jesus and discover the treasures God has put within them to bless other nations. Pray for reconciliation to come between those from different ethnic groups and nations. Thank you, Edwin

It was great to have breakfast in the Norwegian Parliament this morning with one of the youngest elected members of parliament who was 24 when elected and some business leaders. Their was such a great openness when I shared about God’s dream for the nations and future collaboration. The ministry in the Chinese church went well on Sunday as well as with the 120 young professionals last nigh at the YWAM Bible night. Today I am leaving for Geneva. Thank you for your prayers.

Last week I was speaking to 60 young professionals and University students in Oslo. It was such a joy to see how many God touched in the area of their Identity. I had the privilege to pray for several who are in a significant place in their Journey with Christ like D who is preparing to serve as a Doctor in Somaliland and S that is exiled as the Bishop of a mainline denomination from Pakistan who is doing post grad studies. This morning I will be speaking at the Chinese church. Thanks for your prayers.

We will be grateful for your prayers this week as we started the Nations 2 Nations celebration tonight in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. This region in the Drakensberg area is a world heritage site. It is such a beautiful region but this week God wants us to also discover the treasures he has placed in the Zulu people. We have around 20 nations gathered here.

Please pray that The Lord will restore the dignity of these wonderful people as we reach out to schools in the mornings and gather in community halls in the evening sharing about God’s heart for the nations.

Musa, one of the Inspired Individuals, will join me this week to minister through her powerful story and music.

Greetings from Switzerland! The year started with a quick trip to Norway January 3rd to speak at the YWAM Annual staff gathering with over 400 people. The theme was catching God’s heart for the nations. Many of the workers who have been sent out from Norway to places like Afghanistan and Jordan were also present and they were deeply encouraged. This year will take me back to Oslo in May for a Nations 2 Nations tour that will focus on Ethnic Identity, Unity in Diversity and Reconciliation.
Sunday morning I’ll be returning to India and will be speaking at a leadership gathering of the nations in South Asia in Kolkata. Please pray for my visa and entrance in India to go smoothly. I’ll appreciate your prayer of this strategic gathering of leaders that are having influence in the lives of many people.

Greetings from India where I am teaching in our Nations 2 Nations Discipleship program with more than 60 participants. It is being led by twin brothers called Shinu and Manu that came through our leadership training school four years ago in Amsterdam.

They had a vision these last years to see Nations 2 Nations launched in India with the emphasis of seeing Indians raised up to serve God in the nations. After 3 months of training, these students have indeed caught the heart of God to see the restoration of the identity, dignity and destiny of the nations.

It was awesome last night to be part of the celebration of the Southern Indian cultures which was the last of the 3 celebrations these last months to highlight the beauty and uniqueness of this multicultural and multilingual nation. I was rejoicing to see these young people embracing in authenticity, the treasures God has placed in this land and giving it back to Him in worship through their dances, music, rhythms and stories. It was colorful, vibrant and joyful.

On Thursday night I will have the privilege to commission different teams to go to various places of Asia and other parts of India for their 3 month outreach phase. For many of them it will be the first time to leave India. They are a new breed of missionaries that God is raising up to make a (spiritual and practical) difference in a time where India has seen huge economic growth but where many are still left in abject poverty.

Please pray that God will mark them with His love and grace, that their eyes will be opened to discover who they are in God, that they will be empowered with faith and that their outreaches will be fruitful.

Also pray for Shinu and Manu Joseph who is wanting to see this movement spread throughout India. Pray that God will give them great discernment as many trainees want to join the Nations 2 Nations team in India.

Pray that God will give me wisdom as I spent time with these key leaders this next few days and help them move forward in this vision.
